Experience first-hand, the thrill of practical engineering problems and opportunities to learn beyond the confines of the classroom at Engineer, the Annual National Level Technical Symposium to be held from the 14th -17th February 2008 in one of India's premier Engineering colleges.
Engineer 2008 - First Cut
With over 45 events spanning the gamut of engineering and a Net Prize Money worth Rs 10 Lakhs, Engineer is one of the biggest symposium of its kind. Attracting a participation of close to 2000 students from 120 colleges across the nation, Engineer is the technical fest of choice for many of India's best and brightest.
Engineer Snapshots
At Engineer, we give you a chance to enter the heady world of artificial intelligence with Automata, the autonomous robotics challenge, or you could satisfy your need for speed with Velocity. Pit your brains against the rest of the best in Inscription, the international online programming contest, or choose to hold a boardroom enthralled at E-pitch, the business-plan competition.Go further with Blueprint, a platform to put forth your ideas and technical presentations or take part in Perfect Machine,a chance to build your own bot that can play pool. Combine engineering with arts at Symphony, where you design your own musical fountain, or round it off with Simplineer, an event that requires all the disc! iplines of engineering to merge for you to succeed.
Highlights
Socially Conscious Engineering
One of the unique features of Engineer is that there is a separate section dedicated to Socially Conscious Engineering , where we take a serious look at how engineers can make a difference to society. We have invited the likes of Rajendra Misra (Lead India) ,Dr. P.V. Indiresan (Padma Bhushan awardee) and Anubha Bhosle (Sr. Spl Correspondent, CNN-IBN) to take part in The Last Word, a debate on issues relevant to society.
